Class Prophecy We take you now to the year 1972. ln the large city of Roll, we bring you to the home of Bob Jackson, retired teacher of Roll High School. He is now owner and operator of the airport in this city. After receiving the great news of becorning grandfather he decides to hunt up his favorite class, that of 1952 and tell them of the great news. .Tust before starting he picked up the ROLL TRIBUNE , and whose name should he see in the headlines but Francis Sheetz, It seems he had just made the first successful trip to Mars and was now in Washington D.C. Could this possibly be the boy that was in the class of '5Z? Deciding to find out, he packed his grip and climb- ing behind the controls of his private jet propelled plane he took off for Washington D.C. Upon landing at the National Airport he made inquiries of the whereabouts of this so called explorer, Learning that he was at' the Capitol Building, Bob manages to push his way through the crowd and finds Francis receiving a medal from the President. In the few minutes that he could have with Francis, he learned that Billy Towne was in Radio City, New York. He was scheduled to start a show that night and Bob decided he could not miss it, So traveling in his plane he arrived in New York a short time later. Upon registering at the Waldorf Astoria Hotel he went to his suite to rest. Due to the loud singing in the suite next to his, he could not rest, so he went to the door and knocked, hoping this would quiet the noise. Who should answer the door but the great Caruso himself in the form of Bill Town-ef Upon entering, he was greeted by Sharron and their 5 children. While talking with Bill, Bob learned that he has signed a 5 year TV. contract beginning tonight with his show at Radio City for which he gave Bob a free ticket. When Bob found his seat at the show, who should be in the seat next to him but Everett Gadbury. Or should we say Rev. Cadbury, because he is now minister of the Little Church Around the Corner here in New York City. This is the church where hundreds of couples go to get married. Also while talking to Everett he learned that though he was married he had kept in contact with his first girl friend at Roll, Betty Knox. She and her husband are missionaries in Brazil, South America. After the show Bob returned to his hotel suite to rest up for his long journey the following day, Next morning, arising with the sun, Bob once more took to the air and headed for South America. Upon arriving in a village in Brazil, he saw a little American girl singing a lullaby to her doll. Thinking she had a resemblance of a certain girl at Roll back in '52, he began talking to her and soon learned that her mother was the former Betty Knox, Because little Linda discovered that Br-b was her mothc-r's forrner teacher through her high school years :ut Roll, she invited hirn to her home. Here he was entertained very royalty .nd had it very enjoyable visit. Betty had lived here in Brazil for the past 14 years. Of course she had completed her four years of college first, B-i-tty told Bob that she had kept in touch with Alvalene all these years. After getting the address he headed for the Philippine Islands which was Al'.v.lene's. home, After landing ,he saw a new type of passengcr plane coming in and waited to see it land. After several passengers clinibed out the at-weird: f.m-,rr down the steps. Nuclw to his surprise she 'startedtOw1rril'ni 1. rt-c ognized her to be Alvrilem-, the girl he was huntii, HF' , J1- 11
