THE 1971 ROLAND RANGER Roland, Oklahoma Faculty Advertisements Activities Underclassmen Juniors Freshmen Sophomores Seniors ADMINISTRA TION Board of Education WAYLON JONES Clerk IRVIN DARLING HASTINGS YOUNGER CLAUDE EUBANKS Superintendent In looking back over the 14 years that I have been associated with the Roland Public Schools, I have seen many, many changes take place. How vividly I recall that hot, summer day in the summer of 1957 when Ifirst walked on the campus! I have been privileged to be a part of our fine community and school ever since then. Ihave seen many tragic things happen, many happy oc- casions, much hardship and failure, much joy and achievement, much sorrow and frustration, much gladness and accomplishment. It has given me a personal sense of satisfaction to have been a part of helping our youngsters to reach their goals! I shall not forget the fine young men and women who have come through our school system during my time here. I cherish their friendships and share in their deep feeling for our school. Neither shall I forget the many, many friends outside the school - people who have given so much of themselves to help their children. I am proud of our youth! I am proud of our school! I am proud of our com- munity, and I hope to continue making some contribution to them in the years ahead. CARL MATLOCK H igh School Principal JAMES GODDARD Junior High Principal L.V.
