They won the Sequoyah County Con- ference without a loss. Hard luck overtook the Rangers in the county tourney and they were upset by a torrid crew from Gore. In the district tourney at Muldrow, the Rangers lost by only 2 points in an over- time period. Next year looks bright. Five seniors will be hard to replace, but desire and spirit can overcome great handicaps. The Rangerettes weren't champions but they beat the team that won the dis- trict tourney. We will lose only two seniors next year, but they will be sorely missed, because Ramona Lenington was the leading scorer and Dinah Cates on outstanding guard.
