Sophomore Officers preparing to board a bus. As a record of a school which has pro- gressed from the covered wagon days to the days of modern bus transporta- tion we respectfully dedicate this book to the students and faculty of Roland High School. Presented by the Seniors of 1955 Superintendent’s Message The school year 1954-55 has been full of rich and dynamic experiences. Not all these happenings have been pleasant but almost all have resulted in definite and positive accomplishments. This accomplishment was made possible because the people involved were broad-minded and more concerned with over all good than selfish interest. It is gratifying to see boys and girls developing, even through difficulties, into strong characters. I would like to express my gratitude to our fine Board of Education members who in their quiet way have contributed such a stabilizing influence in this en- deavor. Also, our faculty members and patrons have been under standing and coopera- tive in all our efforts, for which we are grateful. Difficulties are Gods errands, and when we are sent upon them we should esteem it a proof of his confidence in us. B o a r d o f L. P. Dyer Clerk Arthur Lenington Vice President L. F.
