ADMINISTRATION 1 wish to congratulate the advisor, editor, and staff on the fine work they have done in publishing this 1956 edition of the RO-HI-AN. I am certain that in later years all of us will receive great pleasure in looking through this book and recollecting the friends and happenings of this year of 1955-56. To each of you in the class of 1956 I wish every joy and success in whatever sphere you find yourself in the years ahead. To the other classes may I say that I look forward to working with you in making Rogue River High a source of pride to all of us in every way. I wish you all a happy and prosperous summer. JOHN B. President BILL WEAVER Vice-President BOB WILSON Secretary MYRNA TOWSE Treasurer JANICE SMITH Main activity of the year was the trip to Reedsport, to the Oregon Association of Student Councils Fall Conference at Reedsport Union High School. This took place October 3, 1955. Representatives were: Fred Hopper, Sophomore Class President; Lawrence Wagner, Junior Class President; Gary Phillips, Senior Class President; Bill Weaver, Student Body President; and Myrna Towse, Student Body Secretary. Mr. Bill Hunter was Advisor. While there we were Chairmen of Discussion Group X. The topic was What can the Student Council Do To Promote Better Scholarship?
