After a two year lay-off, the club again helped in governing student conduct. This meant that anyone caught by the Letter men doing anything destructive to the school or school grounds would be put through the Kangaroo Court and fined for their destruction. They also sponsored the All-American Redheads versus the Town Team Basketball Game. All in all they had a very prosperous year. Coach Hatfield, G. Stinchcomb, Secretary-Treasurer; H. A. is to promote recreation by means of group participation. We began the year by sponsoring two G. A. A. skating parties. Our next activity was a Halloween Scavenger Hunt, in the rain! Then came our Slumber Party, which was really one of the highlights of the year. The G. A. A. , in co-operation with the Lettermen, decorated for the football banquet in December. On December 21, we had our Christmas Party, which consisted of a Barbecue at Mrs. LeRoys, then a show at the Rogue, then back to Mrs. LeRoys for an exchange of gifts. During the spring we also sponsored several swimming and skating parties. In May we had the initiation of new members and installation of new officers. We officially ended the school year of 1955-56 by the presentation of awards to the G. A. A. members. 29
