It has played at a number of school functions such as P.-T. A. meetings, and is now meeting, and surpassing, many of the high standards set for it by its own performance in prexious years. The hand, organized at the beginning of the second semester, is growing rapidly in enthusiasm and finesse as well as in numbers. At the annual Music Festival held at lf.S.C.. Rogers received many top honors. Those receiving superior ratings were Richard Vllaller, clarinetg Eddie Freeman, saxophone: Carroll Ailman, violing Jerry Shaw, bass xiolg Jack Crawford, trumpetg and Marvin Tincher, drums. Paul Benedick lviolinl came away with an Hlfxcellentjl rating, while Betty Bartella lbass violl and Don Wilson ltroinlionel receixed 'iGood77 ratings.
