EDUCATIIJN FOR THE FUTURE lVlERlCAN schools have as their principle an lQducation for the Futurew, which will train the youth of America to understand and interpret the great progress of mankind. The world is like a ball of clay. When this crisis is over, our present leaders will hand this ball of clay to us. We must sculpture it. We must do this with the greatest of fore- sight. We should mold it into a world which will mean security for all time. Xve must expand its possibilities, and abridge the distance between its nations. Xve must shape this , A world of many and varied cultures, races, and creecls, into a place where the people can work together for the common welfare of all. ln our school work, we will learn many useful and valu- able lessons to help us each day as well as those to help us prepare for a future of peaceg a future free from strifera future in which the MFour Freedomsn will be paramountg a future in which ulife, liberty, and the pursuit of happinessw will prevail.
