He attended Whit- mer .High School. A graduate of The University of Toledo, he finishedwith a Bachelor's Degree in Guidance Counselingand School Administra- tion. .After serving in .the Air Force for 4 M years, he began his career in education by teach- ing eg Scott High School for six years. He then ,went to Woodward, where he worked as a coun- Selbrgfor five years, and as Assistant Principal fofiojnelyear. ',s J., MH.. 1O!magazine of the problems caused by the split schedule: While many upperclassman set a good example by displaying leadership and maturity, under- fclassman find it difficult to identify with or learn from them because they don't seethem! By the time the younger kids have begun their school day, the older ones have gone home. Regardless of the problems, Mr. Kiker feels that Rogers students have much to be thankful for. f'We have one of the newest buildings in the city. The skin Center is being bum. There are excellent teachers, many course offerings, bright cooperative students, and a fine com- munityfi' Onejcanf -see that Mr. Kiker's philosophy is Think positive. . Mr. Kiker'siinterests are various. He has a home workshop' and a cottage. He bowls and golfs quite frequently. Ceo is a football fan of the Cleveland Browns, the T.U. Rockets, and of course, the Rogers Rams!
