Administration and Guidance September began with numerous problems in scheduling, busing, and activities. However, ad- ministrators shared the philosophy that the posi- tive aspects won over the negative. Mr. Wilbur Booth, assistant principal of ac- tivities, observed that school traditions and stu- dent involvement in activities were revived. The kids have made it work, he added. Mr. Vincent Contrada, assistant principal of academics, stressed the administration's desire to do the best possible for the students. He and the counselors spent many days in the summer scheduling and rescheduling the day, to enable the full curriculum of 204 subjects to be offered. I-Ie said of the complex problem, Everything finally fell into place. Commenting on the schedule, Mr. John Par- sons, principal stated, We have to be able to recognize the things that need changing and accept the things that can't be changed.
