rurunr HIGH-SCHUDL SHE . . . FROM THIS Rogers High School opened its doors for the first time on September 5, 1956. Finally a reality, this long hoped-for, planned-for, high school has more than ful- filled the dreams of the many who fought and worked for it since 1938. On November 25, 1956, our new 851,124,386 high school was dedicated. The inspiring program included the acceptance of the building, presentation of the American flags to the school, a few selections by the Drum and Bugle Corps of Baker-Stengle Post, and the Rogers Concert Band and Chorus. A tour of the build- ing followed the program. Thus Rogers High School has taken its place in furthering the education of the young people of Adams Township. T0 THIS

Besides all the work it takes to run five elementary schools, the Adams Township school board has been faced with a new problem, the new high school. The board has spent many long hours to provide the best in school facilities for the students in this area. Mr. Carl J. Rasmus, the Superintendant of the Adams Township Schools, is one of the busiest men in the township. In addition to the high school, he is administrator of the five elementary schools.
