Money, Money, Money. Money, money. money Where does it all come from? Where does it all go? Many students found that working a part-time job after school and on weekends provided satisfaction to their financial needs. Although these students enjoyed the extra cash, they sometimes had to pay, with less free time. As Phil White stated, Ul work all weekend so I don't have time to do the things I really want to do. Other students acquired their fortunes with a bit more ease, as mom and pop Hwillingly provided the necessary cash. HWhy should i have to work? My mom and dad give me money whenever I ask Exchanging money, Senior Cari Taylo gets the M 8t M's she badly needed from Junior Steve Steele, Senior Ronnie Henley buys a pair of socks from Athlete's Corner, 26 Student Lite for it, said Gerri Lucas. These lucky students took what they could, but those who worked for a living gave a little more consideration to the weekly paycheck. The average wages for a student employee was about $3.35. the minimum wage, After the grind of earning the necessary money. students were rewarded with the opportunity to spend it But with inflation increasing, Mr. Lincoln's face failed to get students very far. A night out on the town could get .ather costly with a movie costing 3.75. The next stop on the Friday night agenda was Godfather's Pizza, or maybe dependable McDonalds. It a movie didnit fit their tastes, many students decided to spend their Friday nights and their money a little differently, cruising. But the gas consumption could be quite costly just for the sake of cruising around town aimlessly for hours. I work all week long with the exception of one or two nights off, and I generally put my paycheck in the gas tank, exclaimed Trudy Hixon recalling her last time at the gas pumps. No matter where it comes from, or where it goes, it's something we always seem to be short on, and always want more of ...... money.
