Learning a trade Students leaving high school should have a salable trade Rogers Vocational Department provides just that. Many academic students don't know or don't appreciate what goes on in the building, Vocational students enjoy doing what they do, and with good reason. Hltts great experience, I like working with my hands, says Sophomore Joe Meyer. t'l'm learning a trade, explains Junior Bruce Gouge. ttAtter graduation I'll have different things to fall back on. More serious students often go on to trade school. According to Sophomore Tim Gilbert, the classes are a big help in preparing for college.
