Oh what a beautiful morning Despite an experienced cast and crew, ' Oklahoma? nearly missed that bright golden haze on the meadow. 'Although Mr. Peters gave his usual amount of professionalism to the show as director and both Mr. Troyer and Mrs. Holdcraft worked steadily. we really couldn't do much without a mu- sic director. explained Senior Warren Sampson. The original music director was offered another job and left town. also leaving Rogers in need of someone to lead the chorus in song. After much pleading. Senior Jamal Hakim agreed to fill the void Iim just a guy who cant say no. remarked Jamal. Elston's Mr. Lewis Timberlake also assisted in getting the chorus on key Music wasn't the only problem the Drama Club had to face. We also had to deal with band trips. unsympathetic coaches. and late arrival of scripts. commented Freshman Holt Edinger.
