Birch L. K irksey The Building Zin iliilemnriam The Rogers Public School and the cause of education in this entire area lost a great friend with the passing of Birch L. Kirksey last fall. For nearly a quarter of a century he has, as superintendent of Rogers school system, been largely respon- sible for its expansion in both a scholastic and physical way. The ad- vancements made are a reflection of his untiring efforts in behalf of the young people whose interests he ser- ved. As an educator and as a friend it was a privilege to know him, and he shall not be forgotten.
