Freshmen Finish Finest Season The Freshman Baseball Team overpowered their oppo- nents this year, which resulted in an outstanding 7-2 record. They overwhelmed such strong opponents as East Grand Rapids, Grandville, and Rockford. Coach Jerry Hoag commended the team, praising them as one of the better freshman teams I ' ve ever had. Outstanding hitters included Frank Landgraff (.383), John Nash (.375), and Brian Baker (.370). With a 4-1 record, John Nash was the big man on the mound.
