Frosh Promote The 1978-79 Freshman Cheerlead- ers won 3rd place at the Cheerlead- ing Clinic at Godwin. The girls also cleaned windows after Spirit Week, made many signs, and together with the J.V. and Varsity Cheerleaders, sponsored the first dance of the year. Pom-Pon Girls Entertain Crowd The Pom-Pon Girls, adding vivid color dressed in new skirts and sweaters, pleased the crowd with heir routines to Macho Man . Boogie Oogie Oogie and Conquis- tador. Once again under the direc- tion of Mrs. Keur who originated this organization eight years ago. the girls marched with the band in the Grand Rapids Santa Claus parade. Also. they were kept busy presenting the Sweetheart Swirl and singing in the Christmas assembly.

JV ' s Win First Place at Godwin The 1978-79 J.V. Cheerleaders, consisting of eight exuberant girls, received first place at the Godwin Cheerleading Clinic.
