Freshman cheerleaders spent their first year helping build spirit in teams as well as other freshman students. Cheer- ing at games, participating in assemblies and painting windows were all activities they entered into with enthusiasm. Cap- tain Julie Henderson and the rest of the squad won first place at Godwin ' s clinic. 77-78 Freshman Squad V for victory. Amy gets into the cheer.

PotwPcmS Und t This year under the new leadership of Jenny Tyler, the POM-PON Girls had bake sales every week to help raise money for the new uniforms. The POM-PON girls also sponsored the Sweetheart Swirl, which was a big success. Some routines included Slow Ride, I Believe in Magic and Holiday. Marj practices hard Spirit along with the school song.
