JV.Fto kes 2nd to League Coach Van Allsburg and captains Dan Spaak and Jeff Hudson led the J.V. Basketball Team through a good year. They placed 2nd in the league with 14 wins and 6 losses. Mr. Klein ' s matmen had a smashing sea- son filled with tournament victories and a state champion in heavyweight class. Tour- naments at Spring Lake, Forest Hills, and West Ottawa found the Cardinal and Gold in first place, and they captured second at their own invitational. Captains of the team were seniors Tim Carrel and John Stewart. Also, Tim Bubba Carrel won the State heavyweight class, an occurrence that has only happened one other time in this school ' s history.
