Executive Officers Present LCDR Alan N. Davidson, USN LCDR Davldson rs a graduate of the Unrverslty ol llllnols and recelved hrs commlsslon IU December of 1962. He was a student at several avlatlon connected schools. ln November of 1963 he reported aboard the USS LYNDE MCCORMICK lDDG-81 and later to the USS RICHARD E. BYRD lDDG-231 In January ol 1966 he began at Naval Destroyer School He served aboard the USS RICHARD S. EDWARDS lDD-9501 and then spent three years at the US. Naval Academy. LCDR Davidson comes to ROGERS from COMCRUDESFLOT 11, becomlng XO June 14. 1973. Past LCDR Elbert E. Flesher, USN LCDR Flesher began hrs actlve Naval career in 1961 when he graduated from the US Naval Academy He then served aboard two destroyers: the USS JOHNSTON tDD-8211 and the USS WALLACE L. LIND lDD-70311 ln 1964 he was assigned tothe stall of Destroyer Dlvlsron 262. LCDR Flesher then attended the Naval Post Graduate School. Upon recelvrng hrs bachelors degree ln Operation Analysis. he was asslgned to COMASWFORPAC Staff as assis- tant ASW Olflcer, He reported to the USS ROGERS as Executlve Officer ln 1971.
