N 'Y' f - - '- A ' - ' ' ...., . 4 3-1791 'b '3 a'f,3f vw , 9 np 1 Our freshman year finally came to an end and as new juniors we were to begin our affiliations. Before we separated, however, we had a spaghetti party at The Old Canteen on our eve of departure. We were affiliate students now. To Boston, Howard, and Uncas we trav- eled. Remember those gay parties and the late nights at Doy1e's during our stay at Boston, and the first day at Howard with our introduction to Psychiatry, and the nights we spent at the sub-base teaching the boys to dance while at Uncas? How could we forget all the good times we had? This year, Brenda Donovan, Jeanne DeBlois, and Sandra Yeadon repre- sented our class at N.S.N.A. convention in Philadelphia. Did you see the beautiful S1000 bill the girls received - gambling money, that is. Soon we returned to Roger Williams and we were almost seniors. It cer- tainly was a summer to remember: the spaghetti party at Magli's when we all gained a few pounds, the days we spent learning to ride horses, the evenings we spent playing tennis! By the middle of our senior year, four of our classmates were engaged - June Cobain, Mary Bowden, Janie Maetoza, and Gayle DeForge. We were all happy, but sad to think that we were beginning to go our separate ways. Who could forget the lectures two of our classmates gave to the entire stu- dent body on the use of fire equipment? I'm sure we will never again try out the fire equipment in Prior Hall without the presence of a fire. In February, Nancy Turgeon was chosen to represent Roger Williams in the Student Nurse of the Year contest. We were all so happy for Nancy for we knew she really deserved it. In the spring, our ROWGEN was completed and the summer months sped by. At last graduation week arrived. Now, as we stand receiving our diplomas, we cannot help but remember the joys and sorrows we have shared, and the lasting friendships we have made As we walk down the aisle to a new life, there is a prayer in the hearts of us all for our parents, instructors, and friends who have helped us make a dream come true. Now we are Roger Williams Graduates! nr.. 4 QA! N'
