14 Senior Class Officers JAMES DOYLE President We entered to learn, we now depart to serve. At first we were strangers, but now we are friends. We have grown, both mentally and physically. Our high school growth culminated in our senior activi- ties; our future growth will begin at graduation. As we enter society we will encounter many dilemmas. Currently there is an overflow of com- petition in every job, hence we must prepare ourselves to stand out in our particular field of training. We must face the challenge of our trades with pride and dignity. As we reflect a bit we feel a warm glow of friendliness that our teachers have instilled in us to- ward our classmates and school work. I think our teachers will be happy to know that we are going to uphold the good practices of our trades and the life philosophies they so patiently espoused. I have been greatly honored to have served as your class president. I enjoyed the opportunity to have worked with and for the Class of Seventy Seven. I would like to express my sincere thanks to Mrs. Mullaly, Mr. Borecki, and to my fellow classmates who helped to make our class as great as it is and always will be. James Doyle President

CLASS POEM We approach the time for us to leave, Graduation, it’s hard to believe. This day used to be so far away, But it’s almost here, that special day. There will be many days that we will forget, And many days that we will regret. Days that were good and days that were bad, We will cherish the memory of the days that we’ve had. Remember the first day when most were afraid, Remember the friends that we’ve all made. Friends that we’ve seen from day to day, Will soon be going their own separate way. Some will continue on to college, To fill their heads with a little more knowledge. The choices are wide and opportunities great; Most will succeed at an individual rate. Look around and see what you’re leaving behind, You'll see it’s the greatest time you may ever find. So now it’s time to step up all juniors, And say good-bye to your outgoing seniors. Julie Dion
