The brain is defined as the organ that is the center of the nervous system and controls neural coordination as well as thought. This essential organ that is protected by the skull finds exercise in classrooms at Roger Bacon. Often the blank state that reveals a dormant cerebral organ changes into an eager grin and a hand will be lifted in anticipation of asking an all-important question or an5weting a probing teacher's inquiry. Of course, there are times when the Roger Bacon scholar has so many thoughts at one particular time that the head begins to spin, toss and turn as if it were on a wild ocean; she is ovbiously having the notorious brainstorm. By the time this yearbook comes out, the new addition to Roger Bacon High School should be complete. Over two million dollars has gone into the new build- ing's construction - but it should be well worth it. The new building includes the athletic department: storage for equipment, coaches' offices, locker rooms, and a new gymnasium. It also includes concession stands for the gym. The highlight of the new building, however, is the new band and chorus room. This addition is greatly needed at our schoool. The problem with the new building you ask tYou did, don't deny itD? Well, there is the little mix-up about the completion deadline. Also, what should we call this bundle of cement? New Building just doesnit make it. Waive always thought that the Roger Bacon Yearbook Staff Memorial Building was nice, but we dont think it'll go over too well. Openingfs

The legs are long, fleshy appendages, extending from the hips to the ground, and, when moved, walk around. Legs possess a natural abiiity to look good when they are tanned golden-brown, encased in a pair of Eshnet hose, or bathed in baby oil, The cross country team at Roger Bacon specialized in good-lookin, legs moving around. In fact, some experts theorize that Cross country was developed in part to allow men to show off their legs without raising any eyebrows amongst the general public. Openingfj
