The belly, according to Webster, is the stomach and its surrounding entrails. Now you're probably wondering what the word belly and the Christmas Semi-Formal have in common. tSO am I, to tell the truthj But in keeping with the insipid style of the previous introductory paragraphs, I will now have the gaul to compare these two disparate objects with as many puns as you can stomach. Now those of thejunior and Senior classes who had the guts to ask someone to the SemiAFormal stated they just ate up the well rounded Christmas activity. In fact many resPectable students were seen belly Hopping around the dance floor or laying belly up in chairs on account of sheer exhaustion, and there was no bellyaching when the opinion was raised this was truly an exciting and rewarding event In fact almost everyone who went gave it TUMS approvaL As an appendix I would like to note that this gut wrenching article was about as bad as I could swallow; so please pass the ROLAIDS. Thc throat, by definition, is the part of the neck in front of the spinal column. This is rather lackluster definition; the throat would seem to be a rather dull part of the body. It does have one redeeming grace, however, for the throat houses that which gives us the ability to communicate - our voice box Our ability to speak, to whisper, to yell, to sing - all would be nonexistent. The world would be a dull place indeed without these things. Voices have the ability to attract our attention. to excite us. to entertain us. The hip is that part of the body that is found on either side of the body, joining the legs to the upper torso The hips are constantly being hidden by flattering skirts. Many of the female gender find it valuable to bind themseives in girdles to lessen the bulges of these body parts, I suppose you could say that they are hippoedf' Many hips were swinging at this year's annual Roger Bacon Christmas Semiformal. Yes, one could see hips dancing and swaying on the dance floor as well as exhibiting frolicsome behavior off of the dance floor. This particular night of broad-hipping it took place on DeCember 17, 1985. As far as the school's data reveals, no one threw a hip out of socket, although reliable sources say that many hips were given some hard knockst There were only a few hyper hippers there.
