Far well over fifty years Roger Bacon and Our Lady of the Angels have been a team. Most of our cheerleaders, actresses, color guards, and a large percen tage of our best fans in the cheer- ing sections have come from just around the corner. Our dads who went to Bacon dated these girls, and lots of them are our grandmoth- ers, our mothers, our sisters, and the girls we have dated. We can judge how good Our Lady of the Angels has been by how good those we love have been. No high er praise 1'5 possible. We all have mixed feelings at this time: sadness at the clasing of a school that has been so large a part of our lives; joy that Roger Bacon i5 grow- ing,- excitement at all of the new horizons that are being opened. Before we become caught up in the newness of this special school year, we must pause and pay tribute to a school that has given Roger Bacon so much of herself through the years. The yearbook staff is proud to dedi- cate the 1984 Troubadour to Our Lady of the Angels High School.
