KICK OUT THEIAMS. The Bacon cafeteria - a place to kick out the jams - quickly fills with brothers and sisters, enveloped in the band's pulsating rhythm. Many are caught up in the beat and soon find them- selves moving with the penetrating music within you, without you, Many of them spend the entire dance silently watching the band's performance, standing where they can literally feel the music, so close to the amplifiers that they can feel their clothes vibrating. As the light comes on at 11:30, the music and mov- ing stop. Despite deadened ears and tired limbs, the people file out the doors and enter the sharp, reviv- ing air. A 4'- .-i,.. .'.

Guided by the hard work of Coach Klus, loaded with talent, and blessed with four returning starters, Bacon was picked to win the G.C.L. ti- tle, and many planned to see St. john Arena. Neither hope was realized. Three C,.C.L. teams dealt the Spartans heartbreaking losses, and Moeller de- feated Bacon in the finals of the District Tournament. Many people were responsible for the revitalization of Spartan spirit through- out the season. The new cheerleaders were organized, the Signees went back to work, the Spirit Club planned fan- tastic pep rallies. Congratulations to all! f I' UF 14
