Michael J. Dooley Mike hails from the town of Sharonville. He is a good student. Commutes daily with brother Dan. Many students will not believe they are brothers. Michael J. Doyle ttPunchy is the brain of Room 29, and the pride of Avondale. Played on in- tramural basketball team and on tennis team. Self- appointed cheer leader at all games. James J. Eiing Bookkeeping is J im's fav- orite subject. Does well in all other studies, and is a constant honor roll stu- dent. A conservative fel- low, who is well liked by all. Elmer C. Ellert Baldy is a good athlete. He played two years of baseball and one year of football for Bacon. He is a popular member of the Athletic Club. Edward F. Engelhardt Eddie did a fine job edit- ing the ttBaconian. He proved that he had public speaking ability by placing third in the Oratorical contest. He works hard. Stephen M. Feher Steve hails from Clifton Heights, where he works at Millerts Drug store. Has Babe't written on all his books. Is even-temp- ered despite his Hred hair.

Pafrick C. Crowe Pat is a three-letter man. Known especially for his great football playing and rugged basketball work. Co-captain of track team. Has a great ambition to go to Annapolis. KenneH'I J. Day Ken is class president of Room 28. Sergeant of Arms in the C. S. M. C., and a good intramural basketball player. Is well liked and admired by his friends. Vlilliam L. Diebold Bill, known to many as Zombie, is valuable on the Bacon diamond squad. He and Burke led our fine basketball team. Handy man with an artisVs pen. Daniel P. Dooley Dan is a native of Sharon- ville. Played 3 year of reserve and a year of var- sity football for the Brown and White. He has enlisted in the Navy V-E program.

Jack H. Fiebig hAbie likes science, and is a whiz at Chemistry. Constantly being remind- ed of Mary Katherine by Fr. Andrew. Jack beats a mean boogie on the piano. Richard T. Flick Dick left for the Army in February. He was a mem- ber of the Annual staff and manager of the 1943 baseball team. Always in- dustrious in the interests of the school. Gilberf F. Fluegeman hFluegy is the boy that was hloved by all the teachers. He wished he could be like them and have a class of his own. A slight but constant irrita- tion to the faculty. Murray R. Fogarfy Murray is one of the Irish boys who hail from Avon- dale. Afflicted with an odd sense of humor but well liked just the same. Is on the Annual staff.
