To Students and Patrons We are living rn one of the most dis turbed periods our world has ever known We as tndrvrduals state nation and world are seeking peace and the end to world con flrcts We know that we must have peace if we are to survive yet despite this we seem to have much drffrculty in achrevrng this goal Peace as defined tsfreedom from war disturbance and agitation It is freedom from fear, terror anger and anxiety a quietness of mind We must be a people who are willing to face the real problems of hfe and do somethrng toward solving them These problems in preludice and communism Can we hope for peace within our nation or ourselves as long as these things remain unsolved? I feel that many poeple are refusing to see the true answer to these problems We lack spiritual convrctron in our lives We show lrttle concern over the worship of God and IIS place in our lives We treasure freedom of religion ll is one of our fundamental rrghts upon which this country was founded We know that Christian concepts and principles are essential if we are to live in peace and harmony with ourselves and our fellow man God and the Church is our answer 1f we have one in the world today If I had one wish, I think rt would be this Give me the grace and courage O Chnst to live tn accordance wlth my deepest convrc tions of truth honor and Justice May I waste no opportunity to speak a word for thee Take this experience of mine, put upon it the touch of blessmg and use it to help someone who needs thy forgive ness thy comfort, and thy strength May I compl1ment the seniors of 1958 for their many accomplish ments and wrsh them Godspeed in the years to come Gs 4 , il 0 A' 4- . . i .
