One of the most memorable events of any school year is the senior play, This year's play, Seventeenth Summer, under the able direction of Mr, Williams, was the story of a young girl, Angie Morrow, and all the joys and sorrows of her seventeenth summer, It all starts when she meets lack, the center of the basketball team, and who, she thinks, is just the greatest ever. To complicate things for her is Jane, who, once she knows what she wants, goes after it and makes it pretty obvious that what she wants is Jack. There is Iane's best friend, gossipy Margie, and to add to the confusion, Tony, the wolf, and Fitz, Margie's steady, Looking on at all ofthis is Angie's family, herkind and understanding mother, her bewildered father, who can never seem to find anything, her impish little sister, Kitty, and her two older sisters, Margaret, loving and advice-giving, and Lorraine, a would- be sophisticate, who just can't seem tohold her man.
