It's a good idea. And we got out of school earlier! Ii Ninth graders mixed happily at their animal mixer. l'resident Marsh Galloway supervised plans. 6 A Cappella put on its first assembly of the year. lVhat with 'iazzed up tempo and light, pleasing numbers the audience was really sentl 12 National 'l'hespians put on their best bibs and tuckers and initiated eleven members in a senior-high assembly. ll St. Yalentine's Day gave lllrs. 1lnrray,s Latin classes a chance to write sweet nothings to one another. Amo te. osculum. Cupido. and the like were slune' around all day. P1 19 General Motors' exhibit on Progress in Science thrilled all of us and gave llfinter, Hau- serman. and Yvithington a chance to rake in a little booty for displaying their brain power. 5 Seniors had the audience rolling in the aisles with that maniaeal comedy. You f'an't Take It lVith Youf, 19 'l'he River hand concert. one of the most looked for dates of the year, drew a full house to hear the catchy marches and amusing novelty mnnbers. 22 That long awaited, badly needed vacation arrived. The halls were deserted f well prac- tically. 29 lvell. we have to come hack sometime, but did it have to be to tests? VVe're in the home stretch now. though. April 1 Did you get fooled by someone? You're not lmman if you didn't. April 8 The Quiz Bee is always fun for everyone but the contestants. Love those thinking expressions! April 17 Spring fever seized River students, and notes and conduct slips were rife. May 8 This is probably the most important sport date ot' the year. VVQ mean. ot' course, the day of the River Relays. Everyone from the runners to the art department takes part.
