' i SENIORS The first class that Rocky met was the Senior Class. He liked this class but was too young to get in. Six years ago on September 7, l935, a group of bewil- dered seventh graders made their debut at Rocky River High School. After six short years this same gawking group of seventh graders has been transformed into the class of '4l. As we look backward over the activities of the seniors we find that their Freshmen year was highlighted by a suc- cessful dance, the Tulip Trot, and an enjoyable class picnic. Likewise the Sophomore year is remembered for a second dance and picnic. When the class of '4l reached its Junior year it shattered one tradition and established another by presenting a very successful Junior Talent Nite on two different evenings. ln May the Juniors bid goodbye to the class of '40 at the annual Junior-Senior Banquet held in the High School Cafeteria and followed by a dance at Beach Gym. The Senior year for the class of '41 has been the most successful of the six, for at Christmas a memorable Senior Dance was held, in the spring the Senior Play, a hilarious comedy, Come out of the Kitchen, was given, and the high school career of the class of '4l was ended with graduation exercises on June 5, and an unforgettable Senior Prom. twenty
