BOARD OF EDUCATICN Rocky heard about the Board of Education so he concealed himself in a crack in the floor before a meeting and found that the power behind the scenes in the Rocky River School System is composed of five civic-minded members of our community who hold monthly meetings in which the finan- cial affairs, the equipment, and the personnel needs of our school are discussed. The board for l94O-4l is as follows: Mrs. Florence V. Kenney, Mrs. C. D. Abbott, Harry H. Blackburn, Carl Sollenberger, and W. E. Monson. We are all deeply indebted tothe School Board for the work that it has done in making our school system function smoothly and efficiently.
