DEDICATION The 1949 YELLOWSTONE is dedicated to the memory of two outstanding leaders: one a student, one a trustee. BENJAMIN WALLACE JOHNSON Benjamin Wallace Johnson was very active in many of the or- ganizations of the campus, and was instrumental in getting some of them reorganized after the war years. His untiring efforts in organizing the Phi Tau Lambda (now Rimrock Knights) ser- vice fraternity will always be appreciated by both students and faculty. ji

FOREWORD It is our hope in presenting this yearbook, THE YELLOWSTONE, to portray to the best of our ability the activities of the Forty-niner ' s of ROCKY MOUNTAIN COLLEGE in their search for the gold nuggets of learning. We would like to thank Mrs. Vernon Locke and Mrs. Claude Sorenson, bookstore managers, for their assistance in helping us sell subscriptions and pic- tures.
