Dedication The students of Billings Polytechnic Insti- tute, in their inter-collegiate relationships, were first called The Crusaders by their rival friends, and only gradually did the Polytechnic itself accept the name. Thus this essential spirit-this driving power toward high achievement in Christian char- acter and service, was recognized. lt is true of institutions, as it is of indi- viduals, that each is best known, in the final analysis, by those intangible qualities which we designate as things of the spirit. To the CRUSADER SPIRIT of Poly- technic - Intermountain, then, which has been with us in our work, in our play, and in our dreams, we, the Staff of 1938, dedi- cate this Poly annual.
