Foreword . . . Flue-cured tohacco is tremendously important to the economy of North Carolina anrl Rocky Mount. Generally, it contributes more than 50 per cent of the total annual cash farm income. Because approximately one half of the total Hue-cured tobacco acreage in the state is found in the counties sur- rounding Rocky Mount, we at Senior High recognize the importance of the golden weed in our everyday life.
