In 1928 the l0r1g awaited new high school, Central High, opened its doors to the students. This building was absolutely the last word in convenience and efficiency, three floors high and a handsome auditorium. No more would the students have to morch to the Baptist Church for their assembly progromse they had an auditorium of their own. Surely this school would fill the needs! And it did for twenty-five years, and then o drastic change was made, this central high wos to become the R. M. Wilson Junior High-named in honor of the beloved school superinten- dent who served so long and so well. 941' 1 -k,U,?lCq?G','- ' Q - -u..!,QJ N. ,, ' . ,,. .fv o. -Q! HQ- rf? - N . 4
