VISITING COMMITTEE MEMBERS During the week of November 11-15, 1985. the Bland County School Division became the first school division in the state to be involved in three simultaneous evaluations: Administrative Review, Self-Study, and VEEVA (Vocational Education Evaluation in Virginia). After several months of preparation, the faculty of Rocky Gap Combined School (under the capable leadership of Mr. James Sink) put together a very thorough self-study evaluation of our school. The Visiting Committee made the following comments in their report about our school: “The Visiting Committee wishes to ex- press its appreciation to the parents, students, faculty and staff of Rocky Gap Combined School for their warm reception, cooperative attitude, and exceptional hospitality. Outstanding community involvement was evident during our visit. The Committee was particularly impressed with the students' behavior and their pride and involvement in the total school pro- gram. The Visiting Committee leaves Rocky Gap Combined School with a feeling that good things are happening to young beoble.” I Bottom Row (L-R): Miss Pamela D.
