A Different Feeling It’s a different year, a different season. Different changes for different reasons. The sudden loss of teachers and friends, But we still retain the memories of a happiness that will never end. In our minds eye, we see the faces of the people we once knew. Now in other schools, in other places, feeling the loss too. The laughter, the pain, the happiness and the tears, The experience of life you gained in those years. The memories will never vanish or fade away. But will remain dear as if it were yesterday. It's a different feeling, having teachers anew. But we soon learn to trust them too. They adjust to our ways, and we to theirs; After meeting them, the loss of others is easier to bear. It’s a different feeling going to class; We think they’re harsh and wonder how long we’ll last. But we find they're not hard on us; It just takes a little getting used to. And after learning to like them. We often fear they may leave like the others before them. Although they can’t take the place of the others that came before. They've carved out their own space in our hearts that’s hard to ignore. Dee Dee Lambert R. G. H. S. Mr. Jack G.
