Doug Millirons President of the Student Council Mr. Earle Crabtree Sponsor of the Student Council STUDENT COUNCIL The Rocky Gap High School Student Council had a very busy year, fulfilling the following objectives fortheyear: ljtohold regular and special meetings when the need arises; 2) to hold assemblies for the entire student body and to assist other clubs in sponsoring assemblies; 3) to sponsor monitors for the halls to control traffic at lunch and between classes and to receive guests to the school; 4) to handle disciplinary cases when asked to do so; 5) to promote projects to raise a budget of at least $50; 6) to attend the district meeting; 7) to attend the state meeting at Fredericksburg; 8) to sponsor dances for theS.C.A.;9) to help set up regulations concerning the number of clubs to which a student should belong and the number of offices a student should hold; 10) to help the school in any desirable way; and 11) to provide at least one entertainment for members of the Student Council. This picture was taken at one of the dances sponsored by the Monogram Club. MONOGRAM CLUB The Monogram Club has completed the following projects this year: sold school jackets, pen- nants, megaphones, tissue shakers, miniature cowbells, and booster badges. The club also financed the buying of new cheerleader and basketball uniforms. Dances were held in the cafeteria after home ball games. The Monogram Club sponsored the first Homecoming dance.
