Pe, cation Each generation of teachers has an outstanding member that is truly dedicated and committed to the cause of education. This dedicated teacher is constantly looking for a better method of teaching, a way to improve the teaching facilities, a way to improve students’ interest that will insure greater learning, and looks for a method of instilling a greater ''desire to teach in fellow teachers. This teacher of teachers or leader of teachers is always dedicated to God, country, neighbor, and family and has within himself a tremendous interest in making the school, community, state, and nation a better place to live than it was yesterday. This teacher believes that you move ahead in progress or you fall behind, that you improve professionally or be outdistanced by fellow teachers. This leader is sometimes referred to as being Too good for his own good. ' There is no greater compliment that can be paid a person than this. Being too good means trying to settle disagree- ments without a trace of ill feeling remaining, handling discipline in such a manner that those dis- ciplined still show love and respect, and flash a smile and happy face toward one and all. With thoughts such as these racing through our minds, we, the Eighth Grade of 1969, take great pride and extreme pleasure in dedicating the BULLDOG '69 to our faculty member that measures up to these traits. It is with, love, respect, and admiration that we dedicate this yearbook to MR. JOHN COOLEY
