I OUR CLASS OFFICERS President Vice President Secretary Treasurer Historian Class Advisor Eugene Bungard Douglas Speicher Audrey Pritts Avis Younkin Marjorie Kreger Alvin W. Trimpey FOUR HAPPY YEARS TOGETHER Four happy years have come to a close and now we must face the world with only the pro- tection of our education we have worked for in Rockwood High School. With bright looks of expectancy, forty-six students entered this school and were greeted by the sophomore initiation party, after which we felt like old hands. We sponsored a movie at the Rockne Theater, which became our yearly proiect. As sophomores we purchased the electric score board for the gymnasium, sponsored a party for the freshmen and were sorry to find only thirty-eight ot our members remained. Our junior year was a happy one as we were coming closer to our goal, we received our rings and were proud to be a part ot such a fine school. Our class play was a mystery comedy, Lights Out, which was presented with much anticipation as we were showing the audience our acting ability. With great enthusiasm we watched cur basketball team become Class B Champs and were proud to have members of our class on the team. ln the spring we presented the annual Junior-Senior Prom to bring to a close the festivities. This year we returned with thirty-four mem- bers and immediately set to work making our last year a successful one. Our biggest proiect, Senior Class Play, Meet the Middletons, was presented early in the fall. We began looking forward to the spring when we would be busy with Baccalaureate and Commencement services. As we leave our many friends in high school we are grateful for the many things we have been taught and realize that now we are on our own, we have graduated from a fine school. We regret leaving, but we are proud to be alumni of Rockwood High School. By MARJORIE KREGER.
