Editor 0 cee a OMY Dellinger Associate Editor ... Carolyn Morgan BALISBURY, Ni G FOREWORD We, the Senior Class of Rockwell High School, proudly present this editon of our yearbook, the ROCKET. Here within these pages,is portrayed in pictures our long journey througha never-to-be forgotten year. Here isthe spirit, the memories, the little incidents of everyday school life which will live forever in our hearts and in our memories; herein lies our way of life. We fondly hope that in years to come, these pages will become a lasting reminder of the rapid succession of ever- changing activities, the work we've done, the fun we've had, the friends we've made here at R.H.S. CONTENTS DEDICATION ADMINISTRATION RACULTY CLASSES AG EUV INES S ATHLETICS DEDICATED TO... THE COACHES AND FOOTBALL TEAM OF ’58 With extreme pride and sincerity we pay tribute to our outstanding football team and coaches, Maythis show ourdeep appreciationto them for their unceasing efforts to bring prestige to our school. It is with gratefulness that we proudly dedicate the E SsROCKE DT. COACH Carl Rudisill COACH Jerry Pless PRINCIPAL eo WW TUG les Ie Dear Friends: A few bright days in autumn, cold rains and winds in the early winter, sleet, snow and ice;then spring and another year has gone. So our schoolyears have passed. They have slipped pleasantly away. Many friends have been made and many new things learned. Life has its moments of frivolity and merry making, then comes the seriousness of living. Our world has become so complicated that an education is a necessisy instead of a luxury. Those who are wise can read the signs of the time and know what they must do. The foolish, as in all ages, will fall by the wayside. The year 1957-58 will not only go down in history at Rockwell School as a preat year, but as a great year in the scientific world. New vistas are open for conquest by the intelligent. Whoknows what the future holds for us. Let us prepare ourselves to live a happy and useful life. NOUIVSmEr Ulye, is Wie UCKeELE Principal Seated - President, Mr. James N.
