Joe Spafford Raymond Ray Tackle Tackle i E lglzmn Earns October 19, 1962: The Rockwall Yellowjackets journeyed to Plano for the District 11- AA opener. Our greatest grudge game of the year, we found Plano tough and well coached as usual. Plano drew first blood early in the first quarter and had a 7-0 lead. This seemed to fire Rockwall and the Jackets came roaring back. Cade scored first. A J. Anderson was good for the 2 points. With fine deception, Jackie went all the way from P1ano's 34. Nedt was Cade from the 3 yd. marker and the half ended with Rockwall leading 22-7. In the third quarter, J. Anderson carried 47 yards for the TD with Cade kicking the extra point. Rockwall scored next on a pass from Cade to B. Anderson. Barnes kicked the extra point. THe final TD was a 90 yd. run by G. Anderson with a 2-pointer fol- lowing. Final Score: Rockwall -- 44, Plano -- 7.

Atkins turned in a wonderful 46 yard run for the first one. J . Ander- son contributed the 2 pointer. Barnes blocked a Cooper punt, gathered in the ball, and raced 44 yards for the other score. Rockwall poured on the steam in the last half. I. Anderson scored on a short pass from Cade. Cade got the 2 pointer. FB G. Andesorn blasted through the Cooper Defense and went 40 yards for a TD. Atkins converted shortly thereafter, and raced 44 yards for another score. The final score of the night was a 91 yard journey by HB Marc Noel with the half of a key block by Spillman. Final Score: Rockwall - 43 Cooper - O
