Some of the traditional activities such as the Bonfire and Powder Puff game had to be postponed. And those who love a pa- rade were disappointed as that exciting activity was can- celled . For the students who had been working non-stop decorating their floats for weeks, all was not lost. The contest for the best float was still on. In the final judging, which was not easy, the Freshman float won first place. With the theme Beat Em Ragged, Rox and topped by a huge Raggedy Ann, theirs was judged best and most origi- nal. By evening, the rain had let up which was promising for the Homecoming Queen and Mr. Football ceremonies which duly took place during half-time.
