This annual will illustrate why we Seniors are proud to say, We graduated from Rockville High. Martha Woodard Senior Class President Our Age is retrospective. Ralph W. Emerson A year in retrospect . . . your memories. Space, Time, Energy--e1ements creating or h h destroying our dreams. Dreams 4 ; that rise and fall like buildings . With new replacing old. 1967 . . . a portion of infinity . a Space of Time fulfilled by Energy. The irritating ring of an alarm Clock, the silent passing of days . . . months . seasons . . . suddenly, a year of. challenges, defeats, and tri- umphs has evolved. Fleeting, yet indelibly Changing your life by its passage. Long nights of last minute cramming, the ex- ultation of a Victorious team, the grasp of a sublime thought, that unexpected quiz. T 0 feel the glowing warmth of friendships . . . of belonging to Rockville High School. Intrinsic in American civilization is progress . Incorporated within this striving is the inevitable destruction of the old to make a place for the new . The building erected in 1908 has crumbled into a scattering of broken bricks and a sigh of memories. Serving us is the new high school building, enduring the assaults of time, before it too will ultimately fall before the whims of men. Yearbook Staff C O-EDITORS Maria Pastore .
