That Lights - the Way to Success. FOREWORD As President of the graduating class of 1966, I sincerely hope that the pages of this annual reflect the many wonderful moments at Rock- ville High School. David Coleman Senior Class President N Bringing You This Edition wthe Rockville Reflections Staff Russell Garrigus Superintendent To him who's knowledge is of truth, And yet his.virtue is for youth. He helps the ones who strive a goal And helps the ones who seem a foe. Through him we see that life loves youth And of his dreams of sharing truth. He honors all who seek to find A better use for soul and mind. ill I To him we owe our gratitude . He's stood for all the things we should, For all his harvest time will tell. For all these years he's served us well. --Ronald E . Loney E; a l '-.-.. 92 LE c TI Na Round the school day with its dreams, hopes, and plans Victories we've won lead to dreams of the young. Before class mirrored windows can lend a helping hand. Never ending plans of good times ahead . . . a game, a dance, a class party . . . The Junior-Senior Prom Following the theme, An Evening in Paris, the 1965 Prom reached a climax when Donna Barker was announced as the ruling queen of the festivities. Pictured below are Queen Donna and her court Debby Akers and Mary Alice Akers with the attendants Steve Andrew, Duncan Snowden, and David Coleman. From the sidewalks of Paris to the gala atmosphere of Mexico, the festivities took on an informal air . The post-prom party was held with dance band, refresh- ments, games, all in the 'south of the border' theme even to the candy filled PINATA . The students who attended are grateful to the parents who made all this possible. The reflections on a day well spent furnish us w more ith joys pleasing than a thousand triumphs. - -Thomas a Kcmpis Clubs as they follow Page Band.............16 Chorus............l7 FrenchClub. . . . . . . . . 18 LibraryClub. . . . . . . . .
