9L W l ad; 1M l4ow Ti RV x, 'i We, the class of 1958, started out on our winding road of knowledge in 1946, numbering '72 in all. Our first three years were contributed to learning to spell, read, write, and showing our artistic ability with modeling clay and crayons. The fourth. fifth, and sixtl. grades had more meaning. Many responsibilities were given to us during these years, -- working in the cafeteria -- patrol boys and girls -- selling supplies during noon hour -- and a comical presentation of THE NUTCRACKER SJHIE. Then we moved to the high school building. After many adjustments and confusing schedules, we finally settled among the many upperclassmen, but still scared stiff to even take a deep breath. Then and there we could see how many things we had to look forward to in the on- coming four years. As FRESHMEN -- 59 enrolled -- F. F. A. for the boys -- second place winner on the Homecoming float tWATCH OUT FOR THE ROXi -- and some members joining Senior Band. As SOPHOMORES -- 53 enrolled -- class rings -- eligible for Hi-Y and Y-Teens -- Wintertime Waltz -- and another second place Float winner tATTICA WILL BE LEARN'IN THE BLUEsi. As JUNIORS -- 48 enrolled -- eligible for National Honor Society -- selling conces- sions at football and basketball games -- planning a Prom MRABIAN NIGHTSi -- Prom Queen -- winning tat long Iaso first on our Homecoming float UCE CREAM FOR THE ROX, SODA Youm As SENIORS -- 45 enrolled -- Senior pictures -- Homecoming Queen -- Name cards -- Announcements -- Cap and gowns -- Annual -- Scholarship tests -- Senior Week -- Senior Night -- Baccalaureate -- and last but not least, Commencement on May 23, 1958, .28.
