The Iunior-Senior Prom The Junior-Senior Prom was held in the new gymnasium again this year. It was beautifully decorated with multicolored crepe paper and lilac entwined in white archways. The theme for the prom was. Stardust . Jimmy Adami's orchestra played beautiful music during the entire evening. Behind each music stand were colored lights which blended with the color scheme. Alberta Busenbark and Judy McMillin checked the coats; Dorothy Neet and Judy Humphrey served punch and cookies. The big event of the evening was the crowning of the queen, Pat Cover- dale, whose attendants were Lorabel Merry and Lucille Bohn. The queen and her escort led the Grand March.e Immediately following this a huge bunch of bal- loons containing fortunes were cut loose. There was a lot ofltime and hard work spent decorating and getting ready, for the prom. The excellent supervision and help of Mr. Adams and Mr. Holmes was greatly appreciated. The banquet was served by the class mothers. They chose the menu con- sisting of: fruit juice, turkev and dressing, parselv-potatoes, green beans, carrot sticks, celery, pineapple-carrot salad, hot rolls with butter, jellv and iced tea or coffee, ice cream and cake. The ice cream had fifty-one on one side and fifty-two on the other side. The welcoming speech was given bv John Tofaute, president of the junior class; the response as given bv Rav Harney, pres44ent of the senior class. Lorabel Merry read the class prophecv and Leon Bowman read the class will. We considered this the best prom and banquet ever given. Compliments of: John Alden Ford Sales Meadow Gold Milk
