THE TATLER EDICATIG At a time when talk of school consolidation and expanding curriculum seems to be the main item in the educational pro- gram, we humbly wish to pause and reflect. Rockport High School is more than merely a building in the hearts of those who have attended it through the years, for its memory will live forever. When other recollections have grown dim we can still turn back the pages of time and vividly picture ourselves sitting at the old familiar desks, vig- orously urging our team on to victory on the athletic field, spiritedly singing our school song, and finally marching solemnly forward to receive our diplomas. Although words cannot express our deepest and most heartfelt loyalty and devotion to the school on the hill, still Praise we sing to Rockport High. Therefore, to Rockport High School, her faculty, her stu- dent body, her alumni, and her never-ending spirit, we respect- fully dedicate this issue of our annual publication, THE TATLER.
