Dr. Gay Hubbard gave the com- mencement speech after Nancy Shldeler, the senlor speaker, addressed the group. Dan Korpl and Nancy received the Dean's Trophy for outstandlng members of the senlor class. On behalf of the senlor class, Lynn Carey, thelr presldent, presented a microwave oven as the senlor glft. As the PLA. troining continued for those next two doys, I ottempted to describe ond specify whot must hove seemed so nebulous, the role of on R.A. The PLA. ploys mony roles, weors mony hots. Often their investment wos quiet ond remoined unrecognized by others, ot other times they were in the middle, to be seen ond often scrutinized by oll.
